Tools For News & its apps · Effective May 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how After Video Inc. ("we," "us," "our") handles information across the Tools For News family of products — including the website toolsfornews.com and its apps and tools such as Postcast, Cropper, and Newsfont (each, a "Product"). It applies to all Tools For News subdomains and applications unless a specific Product presents its own separate policy.

The short version: Our tools are built to do their work on your device or in your browser. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train models. Where a Product needs limited data to function (for example, to process a purchase), that use is described below, by Product.

1. How this policy is organized

Because our Products work differently — some run entirely in your browser, some run on your phone — data practices vary by Product. The general principles in this policy apply to all of them; the per-Product sections below describe what is specific to each.

2. General principles (all Products)

3. Per-Product details

Cropper — iOS & Android app

Video and media

Cropper accesses videos and images you choose to import from your photo library, Files, or connected cloud services (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive). This access is used only to let you select and edit footage. All cropping, reframing, tracking, color grading, and export happen on your device. Your video is never transmitted to us and never leaves your device through the app except where you choose to save or share the exported file. We do not retain copies of your media.

Purchases

If you buy a Pro upgrade or subscription, the transaction is handled by the App Store / Google Play and by our purchase-management provider, RevenueCat, Inc. We and RevenueCat may process a non-personal purchase identifier and your entitlement status to unlock paid features and restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

Publisher note (delete before publishing): If Cropper uses a crash/analytics SDK (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.), say so here and in your Google Play Data safety form. If it collects nothing beyond the above, state "Cropper collects no analytics or diagnostic data" and set the Data safety form to match. The policy and the Data safety form MUST agree — that mismatch is the most common rejection cause.
Postcast — web tool

Postcast runs in your browser. Text and images you paste or upload (including via OCR) are processed to generate your video. If you create an account or purchase a paid plan, we process your email and subscription status to provide the service and handle billing through our payment provider. Exported files are delivered to you and are not retained by us beyond what is needed to deliver them.

Publisher note (delete/edit before publishing): Confirm whether Postcast OCR is processed in-browser or on a server. If images are sent to a server for OCR, you must disclose that here. Adjust the sentence above to match your real implementation.
Newsfont — web tool

Newsfont runs in your browser to generate lower-thirds and graphics. Logos or assets you upload are used only to render your overlays and are not retained by us beyond your session unless you save a project. We do not require an account to use the basic tool.

4. Information we do NOT collect

5. Children

Our Products are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access or delete personal information we hold about you. Because most of our Products keep your content on your own device or in your browser, we typically hold little personal data. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
